We were to choose a uniform and create a fashion collection based on it, using it as an inspirational starting point. I chose nun uniforms because I don't think it's the first kind of uniform someone would think of. It was also a topic I would be passionate about, considering I am from Rome, where the Catholic Church originated. It would allow me to explore the city and its rich culture and architecture, in relation to my concept. 

I took a strong standpoint in my collection, arguing sexism, restrained freedom, and hypocrisy within the Catholic Church.
